How good it feels to be back!!
Hello to my lovely, loyal readers! I apologise for the long (extremely long) hiatus- school work and co curricular activities was getting to be too much, so I unfortunately lost some time to blog. I wish I had given you notice first. But for those who did stick around, thanks a lot, and I'm back!
I should probably tell you what has happened to me during the last 4 months. I had my Theatre Studies production at school, which was incredibly time consuming, but so worthwhile, and it has equipped me with great skills that will undoubtedly be of benefit in the future.
During the holidays, I was a madricha (leader) at a Habonim Dror (a Socialist jewish youth movement) winter camp, which was one of the best experiences of my life. It was quite astounding when I realised that the innocent Grade 5 kids that I led taught me as much as I taught them.
As for school, well its same same. Boring, demanding, hard work. But I've only got about a year to go, which is a scary but pleasing thought! I've also been doing a VET Fashion design & Technology Course at Kangan Batman TAFE in Richmond, which is one of my Year 12 subjects. This has also really provided me with great knowledge about the design and production of garments. Whether it is a potential career for me is unknown at this point, but its definitely further instilled a love of fashion and the fashion industry!
